The streaming service used to count watching 70% of one show episode or a movie as a single view. Now watching just two minutes is considered a view. "In the case of The Witcher, the two-minute qualifier means those 76 million accounts could have watched no more than 0.04 percent of the season's 474-minute run time," says Rick Porter. "Is that actually what happened with the show? Almost certainly not. The point is that with Netflix's new math, it's nearly impossible to tell."
