Next Democratic presidential debate will feature 12 candidates onstage, the most ever

The Oct. 15 CNN debate will be the largest ever for a primary debate The September 2015 Republican presidential debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California featured 11 candidates. But the 12-candidate milestone has never been reached before. The CNN debate will include all candidates from last month's debate, plus Tom Steyer and Tulsi Gabbard.
