While many the moment of solidarity for "justice, equality and human rights" and for a "Declaration of Kids' Rights," some parents were incensed. When one parent posted that "all your doing is scaring children and that's just wrong," Nickelodeon responded: “Unfortunately, some kids live in fear everyday. It's our job to use our platform to make sure their voices are heard and their stories are told."
