Nielsen will begin counting "out of home" viewers starting in fall 2020

Viewers in restaurants, bars, hotel rooms and other peoples' homes will be counted as part of Nielsen's revamped national ratings. CBS believes the addition of "out of home" viewers could boost viewership 10-12% for its broadcast of Super Bowl LIII in February 2021.
