Page Six reported that cast members won't be forced to appear on the May 8 episode with the controversial billionaire. But as The Wrap points out, the unwritten rule isn't specific to Musk himself. Cast members are free to take the night off if a guest makes them feel uncomfortable, as Nora Dunn did in 1990 when Andrew Dice Clay hosted SNL. But The Wrap's Tony Maglio reports that as of Thursday, no cast member has indicated they will boycott Musk's episodes. While Bowen Yang and Aidy Bryant seemed to express their displeasure on social media with Musk hosting , they have since deleted those posts.
