The Oprah Conversation, premiering Thursday, will feature Winfrey "engaging in discussion about impactful and relevant topics with thought leaders from around the world," Apple TV+ announced Monday. The first few episodes will be focused on race, with How to Be an Antiracist author Abram X. Kendi as the debut guest. He'll be followed by Uncomfortable Conversations With a Black Man host and former NFL player Emmanuel Acho. Each episode will be filmed remotely and feature audience participation. The first episode of The Oprah Conversation will be available for free with subsequent episodes behind Apple's paywall. The Oprah Conversation follows Winfrey tackling race last month in a two-night OWN town hall. This will be Winfrey's third interview show on Apple TV+, joining Oprah's Book Club and Oprah Talks COVID-19.
