PBS cancels Charlie Rose

After 26 years, Charlie Rose’s nightly interview show has been dropped by PBS amid multiple sexual harassment claims against the veteran newsman. “In light of yesterday’s revelations, PBS has terminated its relationship with Charlie Rose and cancelled distribution of his programs,” PBS said in a statement. “PBS expects all the producers we work with to provide a workplace where people feel safe and are treated with dignity and respect.” This news follows the announcement earlier today that CBS is also firing Rose, from CBS This Morning and 60 Minutes.
