Patricia Arquette to star in Hulu's The Act true-crime anthology series

The Oscar- and Emmy-winning actress will star on the first season of the anthology series that tells startling, stranger-than-fiction true-crime stories. She will play Dee Dee Blanchard, the mom to a wheelchair-bound daughter on the season based on the Buzzfeed article, “Dee Dee Wanted Her Daughter To Be Sick, Gypsy Wanted Her Mom To Be Murdered.”
