Patrick Stewart's Star Trek series to launch at the end of 2019

The CBS Access drama revolving around Stewart's Star Trek: The Next Generation character, Jean-Luc Picard, will arrive at the end of next year. “In 2019, its not one Star Trek, it’s two Star Treks," CBS' new chief creative officer David Nevins said at the UBS media conference on Tuesday. "Discovery at the beginning of the year, and Picard will start at the end of the year."
