Peacock orders Tina Fey's pop star comedy Girls5Eva

The scripted comedy series, from Fey and her longtime collaborator Robert Carlock ,will be written by Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt alum Meredith Scardino. Girls5Eva revolves around a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 1990s who reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. Or as Peacock puts it: “They may be grown women balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain, but can’t they also be Girls5Eva?”
