Peacock orders darkly comedic thriller Based on a True Story from Craig Rosenberg and Jason Bateman

The Boys executive producer Rosenberg will serve as showrunner and Bateman will executive produce the series, inspired by a true event, "about a realtor, a plumber and a former tennis star whose lives unexpectedly collide, exposing America’s obsession with true crime, murder and the slow-close toilet seat."
