Power creator Courtney Kemp moves to Netflix with a rich overall deal

Kemp is leaving her longtime home of Lionsgate TV, where she turned Power into a five-show franchise, for an overall deal at Netflix "valued in the high eight-figure range with bonuses baked in that could elevate it to nine figures," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Kemp will still serve as executive producer of the Power spinoffs while she develops new shows for Netflix.
