Questlove becomes the second consecutive late-night bandleader to win an Oscar

The Tonight Show bandleader won the Oscar Sunday for Best Documentary Feature for Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised). His victory, which was overshadowed by Will Smith slapping Chris Rock moments earlier, comes one year after The Late Show bandleader Jon Batiste took home an Oscar for Best Original Score for Soul.
