Rapper DMX dies at 50

The New York rapper known for “Party Up (Up in Here)” died today after being hospitalized since suffering a heart attack last week. DMX parlayed his rap fame in a move acting career. He also appeared on several TV shows, including as himself on a 2015 episode of Fresh Off the Boat. His credits also include South Park, Eve and Third Watch. His music provided the soundtrack for shows such as Godfather of Harlem and Euphoria. UPDATE: BET will pay tribute to DMX with a Friday night programming block.
