In his new book, Finding My Virginity, Branson shares the letter Trump sent him in November 2004 in reaction to his Fox reality show The Rebel Billionaire: Branson’s Quest for the Best. In it, Trump questioned whether the “Billionaire” in the title was misleading and called it a “rapidly sinking show.” “You have no television persona and, as I found out with others a long time ago, if it’s not there there’s not a thing in the world you can do about it,” wrote Trump. “A least your dismal ratings can now allow you to concentrate on your airline which, I am sure, needs every ounce of your energy.”
