Burnett accused Steve Carbone, The Bachelor spoiler known as Reality Steve, of making an "unwanted and unprompted sexual advance" towards her last year, calling her to say he had a "graphic sex dream" about her. "I had no idea at the time that conversation made you feel that way," Carbone tweeted in response. "I am apologizing now knowing how uncomfortable I made you feel. I crossed boundaries I didn't think at the time I was crossing. I did not know this until today. So for that, I hope you can accept my apology." Burnett's comments were prompted by a Bachelor Nation podcast in which Bekah Martinez pointed to a Reddit thread showing that Reality Steve had a "misogynistic bias." The podcast prompted Carbone to atone for his past comments.
