Recording Academy fires president and CEO Deborah Dugan

Dugan, who assumed her role as the first female head of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, was placed on leave in January just 10 days before the Grammy Awards over allegations of misconduct. Dugan's firing wasn't a surprise since she fiercely fought back against the Academy's accusations, accusing board members of inappropriate behavior.
