The Oct. 9 tribute to the late actor is “very much a standalone episode," Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa tells TVLine. There will be no "previously" on recap. “After we finished the episode, everyone said, ‘You know what? You don’t really need that.'” he says, adding: "We wanted to let the episode breathe a little.”
