Ron Howard: Disney+ has yet to decide the fate of Willow TV sequel series

Reports that Howard was in talks to revive his 1988 fantasy film starring Warwick Davis as a TV series first emerged last May. "We’re working on it, it’s not greenlit, but I was just on the phone today discussing it with Jonathan who has written the scripts,” Howard tells Variety, referring to writer Jonathan Kasdan. “It’s in serious development, but there’s nothing to announce quite yet.”
