Fox viewers in the Eastern and Central time zones were greeted by a surreal moment last night at the end of The Masked Singer when Palin, revealed to be the contestant in the pink bear costume, performed Sir-Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back" to the end the show, with host Nick Cannon saying: “Y’all make some noise for Governor Sarah Palin!” Seconds later, Fox News' Brett Baier appeared on screen to anchor coverage of President Trump solemnly addressing the nation from the Oval Office about the coronavirus outbreak. “This is coverage of President Donald Trump’s primetime address to the nation on the coronavirus, which the World Health Organization today declared a global pandemic,” Baier said, soberly. “Good evening. I’m Bret Baier in Washington." The Palin-Trump moment kicked off one of the most newsworthy hours ever because minutes later Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson announced they were diagnosed with coronavirus, followed by the NBA suspending its season due to coronavirus about 20 minutes later.
