Silverman, coming off of two seasons of her canceled Emmy-nominated Hulu talk show I Love You, America, has signed a deal with HBO for a new comedy special. As part of the deal, she'll film a pilot for a late-night series, which she'll produce with Judd Apatow and Amy Zvi. Silverman describes the late-night series as “weighing in on the mishigas of the week and taking live video calls.” “I’m as passionate talking about my face-washing routine as I am talking about why billionaires cost us money,” she adds. “Nothing’s off the table and nothing’s too high or low brow for me. I mean – look at my face – I’m literally all brow.” Silverman has a long history working with HBO. In the 1990s, she starred on Mr. Show with Bob and David. In 2014, she won a writing Emmy for her HBO comedy special Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles.
