Sendhil Ramamurthy reunites with Mindy Kaling for her semi-autobiographical Netflix comedy

The Heroes alum, who appeared with Kaling on The Office as Kelly Kapoor's boyfriend, will recur on Never Have I Ever as the father, Mohan Venkatesan. Ramamurthy's character is described as "a warm, caring father and husband with an adventurous streak (he owns a moped)," per Deadline. "Along with his wife, he moved to Los Angeles from Chennai in 2001. He loves America and is determined to give his teenage daughter the best life possible here."
