Today is the 10th anniversary of the retired Seattle Seahawks running back's epic 67-yard playoff TD run to seal a playoff victory against the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints that drove fans to jump up and down in the stands, resulting in a small earthquake. Lynch's run was considered a shoe-in for "Best Play" at the 2011 ESPY Awards. But in a Twitter thread, the 2011 ESPYs host Seth Meyers revealed how he was personally responsible for Lynch not winning "Best Play." "So I’d like to offer a sincere apology to Marshawn and to honor this play I will be making a donation to the Fam 1st Family Foundation he co-founded," Meyers tweeted. "And, Marshawn, if you ever want to deliver the acceptance speech you didn’t get to make, I invite you to do it on my show. Or do it on @ConanOBrien because you two already have incredibly chemistry."
