The Late Night host appeared on The Tonight Show for the first time since March 5, Fallon's last Thursday Tonight Show in front of a studio audience before the coronavirus shutdown. At the time, Meyers and Fallon made light of the pandemic by touching each other's faces. On Thursday, Fallon, in a 30 Rock studio, interviewed Meyers, who was doing his show from his in-laws' house. The two discussed how not having a studio audience has changed the way they tell jokes.
