“Annie ends up in a place where hopefully a lot of people end up if they have a reckoning with their own self-hatred and those kinds of things, where it’s like, ‘OK I have a better handle on this when it started," Bryant tells Variety of the third and final season. "Does it still rear its ugly head and punch me in the face sometimes? Absolutely, but now I know how to cope with it. “Part of what this season is is just realizing that there is no end for people who are looking to find their own self-confidence. It is a constant, everyday thing. There isn’t a final, ‘She wins’ or ‘she loses.'”
