Bayless, who left ESPN for Fox Sports in 2016 for a reported four-year $25 million deal, has a reputation for making controversial comments. With his contract expiring this month, now might be a good time for Fox Sports to walk away from Bayless after rebuking him for lashing out at the Dallas Cowboys QB's depression revelation. Awful Announcing's Ben Koo thinks the controversy could be long-lasting if Fox Sports opts to keep Bayless around. "With the absolute worse tone and body language, Bayless scraped the surface of the subject and never even got in the general vicinity of an apology," Koo writes on Bayless' tone on FS1's Undisputed Friday morning. "It was evident he was indignant at the idea he even had to address the controversy. No other sports network would have allowed such conversation about a major controversy to be so bankrupt, so insincere, and sandwiched by 90 minutes of normal contrived fluff on both sides, but again…this is FS1. In what could have been a story that was beginning to fizzle out now seems like a permanent stain on Bayless and the larger Fox Sports brand."
