Squid Game is eligible for next year's Primetime Emmys -- and the International Emmys

The Television Academy tells Variety that because Squid Game was produced by Netflix, an American company that  always intended it to be distributed in the United States, it is eligible for next year's Primetime Emmy Awards. But since Squid Game was produced internationally, it is also eligible to enter the International Emmys. Netflix, however, can only choose between Primetime Emmy consideration or International Emmy consideration because of rules preventing double-dipping.
