Star Trek launches a new business unit to expand the franchise beyond TV and streaming

CBS Studios executive Veronica Hart has been named executive vice president of Star Trek global franchise management. She'll work with Star Trek TV franchise boss Alex Kurtzman to find ways to grow the Trek community, including with live events, video games and podcasts.
