Star Trek will have at least two animated series, plus more Short Treks

Star Trek franchise boss Alex Kurtzman says there will be a "minimum of two" animated series. He says plans are afoot to add another animated series to the previously announced Star Trek: Lower Decks. Kurtzman also revealed that CBS All Access has ordered two more installments of Star Trek: Short Treks.
