Colbert's Late Show and Fallon's Tonight Show jointly produced a cold open tonight featuring them commiserating with Conan over video chat in response to President Trump's bashing of late-night hosts on Monday night at a South Carolina rally. “The guy on CBS, what a lowlife," Trump said. "I mean, honestly, are these people funny? I can laugh at myself” He also called Jimmy Kimmel "terrible" and Fallon a "lost soul." The cold open will kick off the Tuesday editions of The Tonight Show and The Late Show. (Conan is on hiatus this week.) In the video, Fallon tells Colbert Trump called them “no-talent, lowlife, lost souls,” Colbert objects: “That’s not right… that’s Conan!” That's when Conan joins the video chat.
