Stephen Colbert defends joking about John Oliver’s Emmy victory

“I know I made a joke after he won,” Colbert said on last night’s Late Show. “But the truth is… they only do one a week.” He added: “They’re not lazy…They’re working hard. We’re insane doing five a week.”
