The Late Show host said the loss was “hard to take, but at least for once we didn’t lose to John Oliver.” He added: ““Like everything with Donald Trump, this award ceremony was overhyped and underwhelming. He pumped this as a big event, but in the end the president just tweeted, ‘And the FAKE NEWS winners are...’ with a link, and when you click the link it took you to the G.O.P. Web site, which said ‘404 Error.’ Yes, presidency not found.”
