Supergirl co-stars Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood are expecting their first child

"A non-canine child is coming to our family very soon!!!" Benoist wrote of her pregnancy on Instagram. "@christophrwood has always been an old dad by nature but now he's going to be a real one." It's not clear if Benoist's pregnancy will affect production on the current Season 5 of Supergirl or Season 6.
