Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch are poised to star in a new CW superhero series following “the world’s most famous Super Hero and comic books’ most famous journalist” as they “deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.” Hoechlin originated his Superman role on Supergirl, while Tulloch made her debut as Lois in last year’s “Elseworlds” crossover event. Former The Flash showrunner Todd Helbing will write Superman & Lois with Greg Berlanti serving as executive producer along with Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns. This is the third potential spinoff that The CW is developing for next season, including the Arrow Canaries spinoff and The 100 prequel.
