NBC's No. 1 comedy stopped shooting Friday after completing Season 5's penultimate episode, which will now serve as the season finale. That means the farewell for Ferrera's Amy will likely happen next season. Ferrera hinted in her Instagram Stories that she might return next season for a proper goodbye to her Superstore character. "Today is unexpectedly my last day shooting on Superstore for this season,” Ferrera said in an Instagram Stories late Friday. “We are shutting down production, as they are all shows on the Universal lot....I assume (this) means we’ll be coming back when things clear up to finish Amy’s storyline. But I’m about to shoot my last scene (of Season 5)… right now.”
