Survivor producer weighs in on the controversial Edge of Extinction champion

Chris Underwood won Survivor despite playing only 13 out of 39 days. Executive producer Matt Van Wagenen says Underwood's victory is "not like a normal thing. I can’t sit here and say to you from someone who was just watching Tribal Councils and listening in who I’d be voting for; this takes in a lot. And I think Chris definitely had an advantage being on the Edge of Extinction because he was able to talk to people, he knew a little bit more about what people were looking for in a winner."
