Susan Sarandon to lead HBO Max's Red Bird Lane pilot

Kiersy Clemons and Danny Huston are also starring in the psychological thriller from producer John Wells and creator Sara Gran that "follows eight strangers who arrive at an isolated house — all for different reasons — and quickly realize that something sinister and terrifying awaits them," per The Hollywood Reporter. "Sarandon will play Catherine, the hostess. She's brilliant, beautiful, magnetic — and a murderer." Sarandon will also be joined by Isidora Goreshter, Ash Santos, Fiona Dourif, Dizzie Harris and Tara Lynne Barr.
