Rapper, actor and reality star Tip “T.I.” Harris has signed on to star in Twenty Four Seven, based on real-life former NYPD Detective Derrick Parker's memoir, Notorious C.O.P.: The Inside Story of the Tupac, Biggie, and Jam Master Jay Investigations from NYPD’s First "Hip-Hop Cop," which he co-wrote with Matt Diehl. Parker was a veteran of the NYPD's Bronx Narcotics Division, Brooklyn North Homicide Squad, Cold Case Squad, Homicide Squad and the Intel Unit when he was tasked to investigate the murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., which led him to design a strategy to help reduce violence in the hip hop community. 50 Cent will executive produce Twenty Four Seven, with Dallas Jackson serving as writer. T.I. has acted in a number of TV shows and movies, including Nat Geo's Genius, Ant-Man and Dolemite is My Name.
