Telemundo announces two English-language shows, including a reboot of the show that inspired Ugly Betty

Betty in New York (a working title) is a “modern retelling" of the ground-breaking story, Yo soy Betty, la fea. Telemundo also announced English-language series El Recluso (The Inmate), the network’s first political thriller starring Ignacio Serricchio. Telemundo is also coming out with a Spanish-language version of The Voice, called La Voz. ALSO: Telemundo shows are coming to Hulu.
