The Kevin Williamson-created psychological thriller won't be picked up for a third season. But since The CW will have programming holes in its schedule due to the coronavirus, Tell Me a Story's first two seasons is expected to make its linear TV debut this fall. It's part of a new trend where web-based streaming shows are helping to fill timeslots on network TV, such as Spectrum Originals' L.A.'s Finest reruns landing on Fox. ALSO: The CW has also acquired DC Universe's Swamp Thing, CBC drama Coroner and British comedy Dead Pixels.
