The 93rd Academy Awards was already on shaky ground since it's scheduled for Feb. 28, 2021, the same day that the NFL has pegged for the Super Bowl if the coronavirus pandemic delays the start of the season until mid-October. Now Variety is reporting that there is serious talk about postponing the Oscars. While one source says the Oscars will "likely" be postponed, Academy president David Rubin says it's too soon to know what will happen. "It’s impossible to know what the landscape will be,” he said. “We know we want to celebrate film but we do not know exactly what form it will take.”
