Season 19 of The Bachelor spinoff will make "history" with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia both handing out roses after The Bachelor Clayton Echard rejected the two finalists in Tuesday's season finale. ABC also announced that The Bachelorette will premiere much later than it usually does, on July 11. And while Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe guest co-hosted the last two Bachelorette seasons, The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer will helm Season 19. As Reality Blurred's Andy Dehnart points out, having two leads is something reality TV has tried before. "As to the major casting twist, double-star season is—coincidentally?—the exact same casting twist that the revival of Joe Millionaire used earlier this year. So now ABC is essentially following in the footsteps of a show that began its life as a parody of The Bachelor and shows that. (Of course, they’re both following A Double Shot at Love, which had two stars in 2008, and again in its 2019 revival.)"
