The Big Bang Theory breaks Cheers' record as the longest-running multicamera sitcom ever

Production began today on Episode 276 of the CBS comedy, topping Cheers' record of 275 episodes. The Big Bang Theory won't, however, beat the longest-running live-action sitcom, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, which ran for 435 episodes.
