Jared Padalecki will star in Walker, a reimagining of Chuck Norris' 1990s CBS action drama Walker, Texas Ranger. Supergirl‘s Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will star in Superman & Lois, reprising their Superman and Lois Lane roles. As Deadline notes, The CW opted to give series pickups to the two high-profile projects rather than go the traditional route of ordering pilots.
