Supergirl and Charmed will be paired together on Sundays as The CW reclaims that night after nearly a decade. Arrow moves to Mondays and Jane the Virgin will kick off its final season in midseason. “Starting in October, we will have 12 hours of original scripted series on our schedule – more than any other broadcast network besides CBS,” said CW president Mark Pedowitz. He adds of pairing Charmed and Supergirl: "We wanted to have an established show on Sunday night. We wanted name value with Charmed, on there. We felt that it was two shows that empowered women and were making a statement that we were not kidding, we were not going to phone it in on Sunday nights — That we were going to compete.” ALSO: CW won't rescue Lucifer.
