The Criterion Channel makes its debut

The film streaming service successor to Filmstruck launched today with more than 1,600 films. “Our question wasn’t, ‘What other big service are we turning to?’” says Criterion Collection president Peter Becker. “Our first question was, ‘Is it time to start our own channel?’”
