The Shannara Chronicles canceled after two seasons

Paramount Network opted not to pick up a third season of the expensive genre drama from the creators of Smallville. The Shannara Chronicles aired its first season on MTV, before moving to Spike TV for Season 2. ALSO: The Shannara Chronicles is already being shopped to other networks.
