The ABC daytime talk show said it will be “taking a little time” to find a permanent replacement for McCain, who left the show earlier this month after four seasons. On Sept. 7, The View will kick off its 25th season by returning to its studio and having an in-person audience for the first time since the pandemic began. Guest co-hosts include Republican Utah congresswoman Mia Love (who will co-host for premiere week), former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former HP CEO and Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, former Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson and cable news regulars S.E. Cupp, Eboni K. Williams, Alyssa Farah, Mary Katherine Ham and Cameran Eubanks. The View also announced the addition of "Flashback Fridays" throughout Season 25 featuring former co-hosts, starting with Star Jones. It's not clear if Barbara Walters will appear. Meanwhile, The View's current co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines reunited for the first time since the pandemic began.
