On Nov. 1, when The Morning Show drops on Apple TV+'s new streaming service, Aniston will return as the star of a TV show for the first time since Friends ended 15 years ago. It's the culmination of Aniston seeking to be looked at more for her acting skills, regardless of the medium. Three years ago, she told a former HBO executive that “television is not not an option for me," adding: “I said to him, ‘I just want to be a part of something great, I don’t care where it lands.' Because God knows, the movies have been great and they’ve been horrible, so you just don’t know.” The 50-year-old Aniston adds: "I’m entering into what I feel is one of the most creatively fulfilling periods of my life...I’ve been doing this for 30 years and I feel like it’s just about to really bloom."
