While promoting the revival of the TLC favorite at the TV press tour, Davis was asked about her least-favorite home-design trend. “Like shiplap?” she responded, eliciting laughter. HGTV Fixer Upper star Gaines happens to be the unofficial spokesperson for shiplap, a specific type of wood siding.
